Balneotherapy

The basic goals of balneology include prevention, treatment of indicated diseases, regeneration and relaxation. Modern healing balneology in the Czech Republic is based on three main principles:

  • using the unique healing resources in the spa location,
  • connection of medical character with high expertise of the personnel,
  • environmental effects as a result of interaction of natural and cultural elements.

Balneotherapy has excellent results in the treatment of the musculoskeletal, circulatory and digestive systems, diseases of the respiratory and nervous systems, diabetes treatment, skin diseases, gynecological and endocrinological problems, diseases of the urinary tract, the overweight and obese, and also in the treatment of oncological diseases.

The aim of spa treatment is, using natural medicinal resources and appropriate rehabilitations, to get the body into a state where it can fully exploit its self-regulatory and self-healing capabilities. The healing care boosts the immune system, resistance to stress, stimulates and regulates the autonomic nervous system, regulates metabolism and hormonal regulation of the body, and increases the range of functional capabilities of the whole organism.
