Spa location

The Hodonín Spa is one of the youngest spa resorts in the Czech Republic. Hodonín – the birthplace of the first Czechoslovak president, T. G. Masaryk, is located in the heart of the Slovácko region where the borders of Austria, the Czech Republic and the Slovak Republic meet. The brick sanatorium started its operation only in 1979, which means that its guests can notice the modern look of the spa buildings and park. During the years 2001–2004, the spa facilities were largely restored and in 2006 they began to operate with newly constructed premises connected through a barrier-free corridor. This modern spa facility in the middle of the picturesque park offers a complex spa-base and other supporting services all under one roof. The local natural resource, iodine-bromine brine, is pumped from the deepest wells in the Czech Republic and has unique curative, regenerative and preventative effects on the whole body. The calm atmosphere of this spa resort, together with its homely nature, creates ideal conditions for successful therapeutic procedures and entire regeneration.

Natural iodine-bromine and chloride-sodium mineral water, a medium level of mineralisation, with an increased content of metaboric acid. These types of waters are hypertonic cold springs.

Adults: musculoskeletal system diseases, neurological diseases, circulatory system diseases.

In the town and its vicinity, clients are given the opportunity to make use of tennis courts, an indoor swimming pool and a summer outdoor pool, multi-purpose sports arenas, bike rentals, fitness facilities, a shooting range, horse riding halls, etc. The spa guests may visit the local Masaryk Museum, Gallery of Art, Museum of Oil Extraction, ZOO, and the Centre of Water Tourism by the river port “U Jezu”. Right in the spa facility they can rent bicycles and “Nordic walking” poles, or outdoor activity equipment; they can pamper themselves in the hairdressing and beauty salon, train in the fitness gym, swim in the swimming pool and enjoy a whirlpool bath. Regularly, we give dancing parties, music and theatre performances, fashion shows and trips to the neighbourhood. The spa resort also offers premises for seminars and conferences.
