Karlova Studánka is a spa resort with a 200 year old tradition. It is located in the Hrubý Jeseník mountain rage in the beautiful valley of the White Opava River, 800 metres above sea level. Praděd, the highest peak of Moravia (1491.6 metres above sea level), is about 10 kilometres from the spa resort.

Due to its unique location and curative climate, the Karlova Studánka spa resort is an ideal place for the treatment of respiratory diseases. Measuring climate values is the best evidence that this place really has the freshest air in Central Europe. Accommodation for spa guests is provided in 7 spa houses. A new pool of thermal water with a temperature of 32 – 34 ºC has been constructed in the Summer Spa building and also a wide range of new hydrotherapy attractions are offered. Next to the pool there is a tepidarium, a room where clients come to rest.

Karlova Studánka is a spa resort with a 200 year old tradition. It is located in the Hrubý Jeseník mountain rage in the beautiful valley of the White Opava River, 800 metres above sea level. Praděd, the highest peak of Moravia (1491.6 metres above sea level), is about 10 kilometres from the spa resort. Karlova Studánka is surrounded by virgin forests with the freshest air in Central Europe. Moreover, it is also a historic site, as it has existed since the 16th century. The original German name Karlsbrunn was derived from Karel Ludvík who defeated Napoleon and won the Battle of Aspen, and who liked visiting this place for hunting and rest.

Tourists may get there from Karlova Studánka following the yellow nature trail leading alongside the Falls of the White Opava River. Cyclists may reach Praděd by setting off the cycle track no. 6075 from Karlova Studánka. In the winter season, Karlova Studánka is a perfect starting point to get to the Ovčárna ski centre.

White Opava: A quite demanding hiking trail running alongside one of the most amazing rivers of the region – White Opava. It runs from its spring directly to Karlova Studánka.
