Spa location

The Kundratice Spa came into existence in 1881 as part of the town of Osečná, and it is considered one of the oldest spas in Bohemia. Sulphur-ferrous peat is used here as a curative natural resource. The Kundratice Spa provides therapies that have beneficial effects on the musculoskeletal system. The location of the sanatorium takes advantage of the very favourable climate of the Ještěd mountain range, which protects the Kundratice Spa from the cold north-east winds. The surrounding countryside is rich in pine woods, groves, meadows and ponds.

Local resource of natural peloids.
