If you are looking for a place where you can rest physically and mentally, then this small and peaceful town in the middle of forests and ponds is the ideal place for you. The spa history began here in 1897. Today, after more than 120 years of development, we find in Lazne Bohdanec a renowned modern spa set in a beautiful natural forest park. The pride of the spa is the Gočár Pavilion, which ranks among the gems of Cubism and bears the name of its creator, the famous architect Josef Gočár, whose works rank among the peaks of modern Czech architecture. It is connected to the other four spa pavilions by a covered colonnade.
Natural healing resources: Peat applied using a unique method – through packing tubs. These are heated water beds enveloping the entire body, providing a feeling of weightlessness and complete relaxation without getting wet. Peat acts gently and is applied only to the affected part of the body, making it easier to remove after the procedure and concentrating its effect more on the applied area. Mineral water – pure alkaline spring water – intended for hydrotherapy.
Leisure time: Léčebné lázně Bohdanec a.s. also takes care of clients' leisure time.
An interesting cultural or educational program is prepared for clients daily. For
active recreation there is pétanque, Russian skittles, garden chess or table
tennis. A bicycle rental and storage is also available. The town of Lazne Bohdanec is
surrounded by an extensive network of cycling paths suitable for cyclists of all
levels regardless of age. For hiking enthusiasts the Gočár Circuit is very interesting. The easy
and pleasant walking route will introduce you primarily to the significant works of architect
Josef Gočár, which he created for the town of Lazne Bohdanec. The nearby
18-hole championship golf course of the Golf Resort Lazne Bohdanec is also popular.
For clients who prefer more passive activities, the Spa Café, Spa Delicacies, town library, board games or add-on services such as pedicure are available. Everyone will certainly appreciate the covered swimming pool with natural mineral water at a temperature of 29–30 °C.
