The village of Bludov is situated southwest of the district town of Šumperk in the northernmost part of the Hornomoravský Úval basin. Lazne Bludov is a modern spa facility in the beautiful environment of the Jeseník Mountains foothills. Lazne Bludov was founded by Zdeněk Pospíšil in 1929, when the original "Radioactive and Sulfur Spa" was established. The healing source is natural, weakly mineralized, strongly alkaline thermal underground water of sulfate-chloride-sodium type. Visitors and tourists to the area can visit a number of attractions, such as the Bludov Castle and chapel, Church of St. George, or the castle park.
Lazne Bludov is a place that serves as a natural community meeting center, a venue for regular professional seminars and social events. Among the most successful events we can include the already 4th Bludov Spa Run for Health, the 6th Spa Feast and Wood Carving event, or Women's Day.
