This picturesque spa town, founded in 1793, is located in western Bohemia. It has preserved an incomparable atmosphere of the early 20th century, reflected in the era of neo-classicism. As a result, the town is rightfully considered one of the most romantic corners of the country. The spa is characterized by a mild climate typical of the foothills, exceptionally clean air far from the noise and bustle of large cities. The surrounding parks are an ideal place for quiet walks accompanied by music drifting from the colonnades. National Nature Reserve Soos: A European rarity. A circular educational trail with information panels allows visitors to observe mud volcanoes, mineral springs, and interesting flora, as well as a museum with Jurassic Park and Bird World exhibitions.
Seeberg Castle: Originally a medieval Romanesque fortress, later rebuilt as a country Renaissance residence. After years of devastation, the castle was restored and now offers visitors a collection of 19th-century furniture, an exhibition about the history of life in the Cheb countryside in the early 19th century, and examples of Czech porcelain.
Cheb: One of the oldest, most significant, and architecturally most valuable towns in Bohemia. Among the main attractions are a Romanesque castle with the Black Tower and castle chapel, an ancient square with predominantly Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque buildings, and the unique Špalíček.
Bismarck Lookout: A reconstructed stone observation tower on Zelená hora (Green Mountain) near Cheb.
