Spa sites
The picturesque South Bohemian small town of Bechyne is spread over the Lužnice River valley just 20 km southwest of the historic town of Tábor. The local spa – one of the oldest in the Czech Republic – uses natural resources, especially mineral-rich mud from the local Komarov peat bog, in its therapeutic methods practiced for more than 300 years. Visitors and tourists to the town can see numerous attractions in the area, such as Bechyne Castle, whose modern appearance is the result of the creativity of the famous Petr Vok of the Rosenberg family, or the well-known bridge often called the Bechyne Rainbow.

In summer, it is possible to visit the tower of St. Matthew's Church on the square. Tours are provided by the Bechyne tourist information center.
